HILL CLIMB BRANDING

Throughout this project, a vintage motor-sport style is used as a throwback to the early 50s when the Corkscrew Hill Hill-Climb was first established. The color palette is minimal and utilizes warmer tones to convey the feeling of worn/vintage design. The type treatment is also handled in ways similarly to that which was seen in motor-sports back in the 50s and 60s. Each car on the posters and shirt designs represents one of the three races held at the event. The stickers were all designed with old-school racing sponsor logos in mind. The sticker with the “‘24” alludes to the year (as these designs would be used in 2024). All photography was taken at the 2023 Corkscrew Hill Hill-Climb.
