BRANDING
The main concept of my package design was born in the sketching process. I made the box taller and slimmer than the original packaging to make it stand out from other packages on the store shelf. I made the box color of each pasta type different to help customers find what they’re looking for faster. I designed subtle yet elegant linework for the background to both make the boxes more interesting and to complement the typography. The realistically illustrated pasta takes up a large part of the space, making it easy for customers to quickly identify the type of pasta in the box. The company logo and pasta type are repeated on the different sides of the box for easy recognition no matter how the box is oriented on the shelf.
